‘Many to One’ and ‘One to Many’
The two transport types : ‘Many to One’ and ‘One to Many’ are a new concept in that the system acts as intermediary between ‘external’ organizations and a single organization representing the enterprise.
For example ‘Distributor Orders’ transport includes distributor organizations, as expected, but also one more organization representing the enterprise.
In the case of ‘One to Many’ transport – files sent by the enterprise (which is the source) arrive to distributors (which are the targets).
In the case of ‘Many to One’ transport – files sent by distributors (sources) arrive to the enterprise org (the target).
Note: Source organization can only be defined after they have subscribed to the transport
